T Slot Rubber Seal

We have T-bulb garage door seal replacements in sturdy vinyl with a 1/4-inch 'T' to fit most T-style garage door retainers. We have rolling door T-slot bulb seals. Our Mini Warehouse garage door replacement seal with T-bulb construction will fit Wayne Dalton garage doors and other brands. We sell our weather sealants for garage doors by the foot. The rubber door seal is made of black EPDM rubber which provides flexibility, making it a longer-lasting option. It has a key pad that presses into a T-slot. The rubber door seal is available for 15 and 40 series and is sold by the foot or in 100 foot rol.

D-Shaped EPDM Rubber Bulb Seals

Rubber

D-shaped rubber bulb seals (D-seals) are some of the most popular seals used in the world. The hollow bulb profile with the foam/sponge rubber material allows the D-seal to be compressed more easily than a solid seal, and it provides a cost-effective solution for many common applications. Our D-shaped rubber seals are available in a variety of heights and widths. Our standard D-seals are manufactured out of EPDM rubber material with a temperature rating of -20°F to +160°F.

D-shaped EPDM sponge rubber bulb seals work well for reducing vibrations and provide resistance to water absorption, resistance to ozone degradation and reduced sunlight aging due to the chemical makeup of EPDM and the sponge-like matrix that the D-shaped rubber seal is made from. D-shaped weather stripping works best with 25%–50% compression when sealing between two surfaces. Compressing the D-profile weather stripping further can result in compression setting, whereby the profile of the seal will be permanently compressed and will not have the sealing capabilities that it was originally intended to have.

Tape/Adhesion Options

All D-seals are available with two adhesive/tape options: 3M heat-activated tape (HATS) or pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape. The type of adhesive backing for the D-shaped rubber gasket is primarily based on the application and use of the seals. The heat-activated taping system (HATS) requires time to cure but provides a superior bond to the substrate than a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). Therefore, HATS are ideally used in applications where there will be a shear force applied to the D-shaped rubber seal. PSA backing is ideal for temporary or static applications.
